Sheikh Din Muhammad Abdullah al-Dayemi
Healing and Forgiveness in the Remembrance of God

Sheikh Din Muhammad Abdullah al-Dayemi is the current western spiritual representative and religious leader of the Dayera Sharif, a 750 year old Islamic dynasty headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His formal spiritual training began in 1971 and has continued for the past 30 years. His travel and residences have included Canada, Europe and South Asia, as well as the Unites States. Sheikh Din’s primary instructor was the late Sheikh Shah Sufi Sayed Dayemullah, a descendant of the family of the Prophet Muhammad, who conferred upon him the title of Murshid (Teacher or Religious Master) in 1992, a rare occurrence, especially for a person from the western world.

He has been teaching the principles of Islam for the last 10 years, primarily to western adherents, in the United States and Europe. Sheikh Din is the director of the Dauemi Tariquat, a religious and service organization that operates an international spiritual community in Southern Illinois, with branches across the United States, Europe and Bangladesh.
