The List

Description

Life can turn upside down in a hurry even when we’re vigilant.  Starting in January 2009, I experienced this and, over the next two years, everything in my world was shaken to the core.  As the dust started to settle, God introduced me to a wonderful lady one night at a restaurant named Sloan’s.  Over the next six months I was graced with a compassionate  education on building my life the way I really, really, really wanted it to be.  One of her many gifts was organization and scheduling.  She accomplished this gift through several tools but the most important was lists.  I found she stayed remarkably focused through lists and I was deeply impressed by this.

I picked an area of my life that I wanted to define a specific outcome for and I started a list.  Very quickly, the list started making it’s presence felt throughout my life and I realized that, I had to examine this dynamic closer and maybe even specify the list more.  With that awareness, I started to learn about focus, the straight and narrow path, the middle way and, my path became more clear.

Everyone comes onto our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime. As quickly as she came into my life, she was gone and I was left with priceless lessons which will stay with me for the rest of my life. I am grateful.

I hope you enjoy these songs about this period in my life as much as I do.  Thank you for listening.  I appreciate it.
